Timeless and easy to wear, the bob hairstyle has been popular for nearly 100 years in the United States. It first became popular in the “flapper” era where it marked the sign of a “liberated” woman.
Today, one of the many bob cut variations is based on layering - cutting the basic design into varying lengths so it forms layers of hair down to the desired length. Now, I may not be a hundred years old - or even half that - but I like to be liberated from the drudgery of long hair-care sessions in the morning. LOL So a layered bob is the best cut for me. Trendy, edgy - or whatever I want (except long, but that’s why they make wigs); but most of all it is easy to care for.
